A stunning contemporary pub in West Malling’s Kings Hill development, the Spitfire meets the most exacting modern standards - but it’s a place that remembers its heritage too.
The pub is built on the former Battle of Britain RAF base, and that heroic history is recalled in aircraft artwork and architectural features around the pub.
It’s remembered too, of course, in the pub’s name - which is shared by Shepherd Neame’s signature ale. It’s only right then that this is one of the best places in Kent to savour a pint of the popular beer - with the pub approved by Cask Marque for its exceptional beer-keeping.
Outside, there’s a lush green garden with ample seating for living the alfresco lifestyle. The perfect spot for dinner and drinks in summer, it also boasts a children’s play area - making it a super space for all the family to enjoy.
The Spitfire enjoys a great reputation for its food. Dishes are freshly-prepared on the premises from local, seasonal produce, and enjoyed in spacious, stylish dining areas on both floors.
